Christmas shopping
OOoooOOooh it's that time of the year...When the leaves all turn red and the breeze gets cooler..Chilly nights wrapped up infront of the TV...you know that just around the corner is Christmas...
I just love the cosy colours of this season. Rich shades of red, green and not to forget gold are the colours of this festive period. So, dress up a plain black dress with some daring red earings, and a gold silk scarf. Better yet why not try a whole set of matching earrings, neklace and bracelet?
E-mail me on through 'I Wish' letting me know the colour you are looking for, and a rough idea of what design you like, and I'll design a set just for you.
Has anyone started shopping yet?? I know a few friends have... but that's just too organised for me. :)
It's hard these days to find a present without having to trawl through the crowds, isn't it? and then endlessly thinking 'oh but will she like it?'
The stress of shopping for that perfect gift for your mum, grandma, sister or neice can really wear some of us down...but let me make it easier for you. The Jamila Jewellery collection has been updated with all my latest designs, so for a bespoke, exclusive piece of jewellery, look no further.
Please, if you have any questions, or you just want to have a jewellery chat, drop me a line on mail@jamilajewellery.com anytime. I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
Off to make some jewellery now...
A bit about myself
Welcome to Jamila Jewellery's blog, where you will find updates on the latest trends in fashion and accessories, colours and styles. All you need to know about jewellery to make your outfit stand out from the crowd.
All Jamila Jewellery designs are exclusive and handmade by me.
I have always loved making women's accessories, and started at the age of 16 when I was still at school, and made simple bracelets and necklaces for myself, family and friends. The skills I have gained throughout the years have kept me going ever since.
I remember the night before my final exam at University, where instead of revising I was making necklaces that were to be sold the next day.
Once I settled into work I decided on setting up a website to show all my designs, and then came the idea of selling online.
Let me tell you it is hard work, but I enjoy every minute of it.
There is no greater pleasure than seeing your own work of art admired by someone who wants to wear it.
Now this is a question I am often asked.
Where did the name come from?
Well I wanted something original, easy to say in English, reflect the Egyptian culture I have grown to love, and mean something beautiful. And Voila!!! Beautiful!!
Jamila means beautiful in the Arabic language.
I would like to thank everyone I know for their support and the lovely comments I have received.
Remember I also make custom made jewellery to order, so if there is a certain colour or style you're looking for, let me know, I might be able to make your wish come true.
(Visit ''I wish'' page and send me the design you have in mind)
So see you all soon with some more updates.
